Welcome to the Libertyville Running Community – a place to meet new and inspiring running friends, find/share new running routes, and discover local races to motivate you.
LRC post-COVID will no longer operate as a club like we knew it. This is now your community, your running resource in Lake County.
Over the past 8 years, we’ve built a vibrant community of runners in Libertyville and beyond under one person’s vision… imagine what we can do as a collective of thousands of visions? You are encouraged to make that happen here for yourself and others.
This Libertyville Running Community Facebook group page is where you can post about all those running questions you have and to help build your running community:
- Find and establish a group that runs at your pace, your time
- Share local running resources
- Find a local race that others are running
- Build interest in a weekly happy hour run
- Questions about an injury
- Share a favorite running route
- Seek interest in a field trip to run one of our many forest preserves
It has been my pleasure to have established LRC and to meet and run and be inspired by so many of you! I look forward to being part of your community.
